Valentina Guagliardi was born in Novi Ligure in 1987. She combined her high school studies as a surveyor with her artistic training, working in the atelier of set designer Elio Sanzogni, Emanuele Luzzati's collaborator, taking her first steps in theatre spaces and realising that technical training alone would not be sufficient for the full realisation of her personality.

He began studying Architecture and graduated with Professor Franz Prati, with the thesis Unexpected Cities: versatile urban spaces for inhabiting contemporaneity, a path of analysis from Team X to Constant Nieuwenhuys, to the closest SANAA.
He pursued his research as a freelancer, moved to Paris, where he worked in architecture studios - B+C Architectes, 5+1AA - and attended set design courses.

She returned to Italy, to Rome, Milan and Bologna, where she attended the course REnovation of public Buildings and Urban Spaces, held by Regione Emilia-Romagna and PoliMI. Back in Genoa, she opened a small atelier.
He is a junior associate set designer at ASC - Association of Italian Set and Costume Designers, Rome Cinecittà.
Research and listening are at the basis of all her projects: curiosity and confrontation, questioning and questioning, extracting meanings, trying to give a new meaning to space, to try to safeguard its human dimension.
That three-dimensional physical space, which observed in urban planning, architecture or set design, mixes and dialogues vividly.
