RKTTS Architecture and Interior Design Studio

RKTTS is an architecture and interior design studio based in Milan, Italy, that works nationwide on renovation and new construction projects, carrying out its activities in the field of architectural design and civil works supervision. In addition to architecture, the firm develops interior design and furniture projects in parallel. Founded by Lorenzo Facchini together with Matteo Martini and Michela Gilardi, RKTTS today represents the work done by Facchini, who directs it, in more than 15 years of activity in which he has worked in specific fields such as first and foremost residential and offices, but also school buildings, participating in several competitions and gaining the design of the kindergarten school in Primaluna (LC). Other design areas have been hospitality, retail and restaurants, while a substantial part of the studio's activity has been and still is made of projects for social architecture, through which specific skills have been acquired, while experimenting complex realizations. In the case of RI.ABI.LA., an example of a recuperation of the pre-existing building heritage through the redevelopment and expansion of a disused school building, a complex functional mix of housing, training, sales and work activities was successfully experimented and realized. On the other hand, the AGRIVIS project, new construction of a building to serve an agricultural cooperative, introduced a new sphere, agriculture, in a building where the functions of structure for the agricultural activity and social housing coexist. Housing places, such as single-family houses or apartments, and offices have been the most recurring project fields in recent years. Since 2022, the firm has moved to 35 Via Carlo Imbonati, where IZED Partners is based. Facchini and Walter Incerti thus return to share physical spaces, collaborations, and experiences after their time together at STUDIO46 in the old location on Corso di Porta Nuova.
