Philippe Fichet studied architecture in the National Architecture school of Normandy. Concurrently with his studies, he follows Art history courses
in Louvre school. Architect DPLG in 1985, he works then for Antoine Soulier, architect in Chartres.
In 1986, he creates its agency, then in 1992 he extends it over two sites, in Chartres and Paris, with the creation of the agency BFT architects.
Since July, 2008 he created a new agency “Agence Philippe Fichet” situated in Paris 16, and develops brand new projects.
This agency gathers about ten collaborators now, and work in close collaboration with Béatrice Fichet, graphic designer.
Philippe Fichet was nominated president of Qualibat28 from 2001 till 2003. He also was a member of the architect’s order for 8 years, from
1990 till 1999.
He is an architectural consultant with the MIQCP (Interministerial Mission for the Quality of Public Constructions) since 2012.
In parallel Philippe Fichet participates in numerous conferences and colloquiums concerning towns planning, landscape, architecture, and
wider domains, which cross various scales, and contribute to informs the practice of architecture.
His journey is influenced by multiple sources and sphere, and miscellaneous experiences. These projects are the outcome of researches led on
the light, the shape and the materials, which reveal the work led by the agency Philippe Fichet.
