Founder / Director of UNICA ARCHITECTS, before moving to Dubai Riccardo was involved in relevant large-scale projects around the world including Europe, USA, China and South America.

With Juan Herreros Arquitectos he worked on several prestigious projects including the Munch Museum and the Residential Master Plan in Oslo, the Master Plan for the Menil Collection Extension in Houston and the Satellite Control Center in Madrid.

As Founder and Director of UNICA Architects, he had the opportunity to
design prestigious hospitality projects in the Middle East and Europe, as well
as various public and private buildings in Middle East and Europe.

Riccardo was also an assistant professor at University Polytechnic of Milan and critics in various universities, including the B.E.S.T of Lódz, the N.A.B.A academy of Milan and the American University of Sharjah. In 2020 he was a part of a research group investigating emerging
design and technologies of smart cities at the MIT Media Lab (Massachusetts
Institute of Technology).
