ENG - ITA ENG Bufi Resort is a private house in Molfetta (BA) which was created from the passion and the meeting between Graziano Bufi and the designers Gianni Veneziano and Luciana Di Virgilio of studio V+T, whose careful restoration brought back to life an ancient building in the old town centre of Molfetta on the Adriatic coast. It is an elegant and easy to reach location protected from the frenetic town life. The Resort is a protected place open to the horizon, where the architecture accompanies what is the essence of the project inspired by the ideas of a "union" between the historical and the contemporary. It proposes a knowledgeable play of balances in the use of materials and design choices. The dual architectural language leads the visitor through a charming narrative sequence by means of the alternation of natural stone walls typical of the territory and walls which hark back to the great designs of the architect Gianni Veneziano interpreted by means of the digital mosaic, making the intervention unique and strongly influencing it. The signs on the wall can be considered frescoes of the digital era, “for me the mosaic is a sort of dense, infinite liquid where it is not possible to understand the beginning or the end in a numerical, cerebral, emotional representation that takes you to a new world yet to be defined. Digital Mosaic provides a sort of pop revolution with a mobile language and freedom of transposition of any form dictated by thought.” ITA Il Resort Bufi è una casa privata che nasce dalla passione e dall’incontro tra Graziano Bufi e i progettisti Gianni Veneziano e Luciana Di Virgilio dello studio V+T, che con un sapiente restauro hanno riportato in vita un antico palazzo nel centro storico di Molfetta sulla costa Adriatica. E’ una location elegante, facilmente raggiungibile e protetta dalla frenesia cittadina. Il Resort si presenta come un luogo protetto e aperto verso l'orizzonte, dove l'architettura accompagna quello che è l'essenza del progetto ispirato all'idea del "connubio" tra storico e contemporaneo, il progetto propone un sapiente gioco di equilibrio nell'utilizzo di materiali e scelte progettuali. La dualità del linguaggio architettonico conduce il visitatore in una sequenza narrativa suggestiva tramite l'alternarsi di pareti di pietra naturale tipica del territorio e pareti che riportano grandi disegni dell'architetto Gianni Veneziano interpretate tramite il mosaico digitale che rendono unico l'intervento e fortemente caratterizzante. I segni sulle pareti si possono leggere come affreschi dell’era digitale, “Il mosaico per me è una sorta di liquido denso, infinito, dove non è possibile capire l’inizio o la fine in una rappresentazione numerica, celebrale, emozionale che progetta un nuovo mondo da definire. Con Mosaico Digitale avviene una sorta di rivoluzione pop con un linguaggio mobile e libertà di trasposizione di qualsiasi forma dettata dal pensiero.”- Gianni Veneziano-­
