Capitan Piada | Trattopunto

Capitan Piada is a piadineria situated in Matera.

The interior design has been developed by Studio Trattopunto. The designers have been given a brief to create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere according to the company’s values such as tradition, quality and hospitality.

In order to strength the concept of simple, people’s place, raw materials and unrefined finishing have been chosen: the boiserie, the tables and the central bar are upholstered by rough oak staves.

The hanging lamps and the cupboards are made of rough iron, on the base of the interior design.

The only colour mark into the pub is given by the yellow Doka staves covering the toilet walls and the back of the bar.

The Tolix metal chairs follow the industrial style, too.

Finally, to complete the mood of the piadineria, there are trenches and rolling pins of different sizes randomly hanging from the walls.
