ChorusDesignGroup have been awarded with  “Excellences for Sustainability” Award as Best Practice for developing sustainable communications plans. CDG has been called for the communication strategy of the green sensibility spreading. Our website chorusdesigngroup.com is eco-friendly low energy impact, thus it has been nominated as one of the very first green sustainable website, for it’s reduced carbon dioxide (CO2) impact and energy saver efficiency.

The ceremony took place in Naples on December, 12th 2011 at the Forum “Energetic Challenge for a sustainability of well-being”, organized by Fondazione Simone Cesaretti. The Forum focused on defining possible solutions and scenarios driven to cancel the actual dicothomy between the energetic challenge and the sustainability of well-being, in particular referring to cultural enterprises and earth resources valorisation.

In collaboration with by Francesco Bellon, as a technical consultant, the chorusdesigngroup.com  is an ecologically responsible website in taking two main actions both on web hosting and web surfing use. In fact, it uses a wind powered machines on line server (GreenGeeks.com hosting) and apply the energy saver web rules called “Think IT Green”, a catalog of web surfing regulations set together by Creuza Comunicazione Agency from Milan. The two main regulations from “I Think IT Green” are firstly the friendly to the user communication design on the web surfing; secondly the insert of an ecofont used as a special typographic type reduces the amount of ink from the printable documents available on the website. In addition to these the guidelines linkable on our website homepage, there is a sperimental tool running from Greenanalytics (www.greenalytics.org). This tool run as an interface to calculate the energy saving of the website surfing. As a result, a data scheme is shown to address people to a more comprehensive read of how much the web surfing computer use is impacting the environment (CO2 emmission) as well as how much is saved from a green and eco-responsible website using a green hosting and a friendly to the use web surfing.

action for sustainability.
