Vertical Ecosystem in Shopping mall | Ignacio Solano

In October of 2012 We return to Ecuador, to develop wich at that moment was the South American largest vertical garden in a record time of one and a half month with our partners Greenstar. This is a vertical ecosystem of 1,000 square meters divided into 9 vertical gardens surrounding a shopping center in Quito. Paisajismo Urbano has been made to this building both exterior and interior vertical gardens. 30,000 plants were planted 90 different species. Among them, 60 species are native. Greenstar Our partners have chosen this project for bio-architecture, which in a year will generate oxygen 1,000 people and catch 300 tons of harmful gases.
