Paisajismo Urbano
Team El Altet / Spain
Paisajismo Urbano is a group of people that are passionate about nature. Eighteen years ago we carried out our fist exploration to the Mexican cloud forests, sketching out the thousands of possibilities for transplanting the color and life of nature to our gray cities, directly inspired by the sophisticated architecture of the rainforests.
After years of research and experiments in terrariums and natural green walls we have the “know-how”, having discovered the perfect conditions in which to recreate a vertical, lush, diverse, beautiful and huge ecosystem.
Creating an artificial habitat where plant biodiversity develops in the optimal way requires a precise technical handling and a complementary knowledge of botany, engineering and design.
However, the success of the vertical gardens that we establish would be impossible without the hours of love that we put into every plant we grow and looking after its life process with curiosity and satisfaction.
Also, the artistic charge, integration into the environment and the longevity of the vertical gardens make Paisajismo Urbano a company with body and soul, committed to putting the most we can into every work we do.
In every empty wall we see a potential rainforest, a place to rest the mind and to stop and contemplate, a place that refreshes and absorbs polluted air
If one in every eight walls in our concrete cities had a vertical garden, we would reduce the impact on the climate and pollution significantly, the cities would return to mother earth what we took from her, making a forward step in the name of sustainability.
It is essential not only to conserve the few natural areas that are still alive, we also need a change, a transformation in our own cities that must born from our conscience and from action. Live your life in harmony with nature.
