I was born in 1949 in southern Switzerland, where I still live and work. Here I have the great chance that this region represents a kind of a filter between the Mediterranean and the northern European culture. As many much greater architects than I am, my way was an autodidactical one. I have been working in various parts of Switzerland, until I opened my own atelier 1974 in Lugano with different collaborators. I also used to teach in a school for architecture and in an academy for applied arts.
