Katharina Löser and Johannes Lott founded their office Löser Lott Architektur in Berlin in 2011.
Since 2020, they have also been teaching building theory and design with a focus on residential construction at the Technical University in Dresden. Their work sees itself as a search for future living scenarios against the backdrop of an inspiring complexity. Their works deal with different programs and scales.
Katharina Löser studied architecture at the Technical University of Dresden, at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona and at the Berlin University of the Arts. She initially worked at Wiel Arets Architects in Maastricht during her studies before founding Löser Architekten. In 2011, she founded Löser Lott Architekten in partnership with Johannes Lott in Berlin. Since 2015, she has been a member of the Association of German Architects and part of the board of trustees of the BDA Gallery Berlin. In 2016, she was appointed to the BDA's working group of young architects.
Katharina Löser has been a full professor at the Technical University of Dresden since the 2020.
Johannes Lott studied architecture at the Technical University of Dresden. He initially worked at Scalar Architecture in New York during his studies and from 2008 to 2011 at Müller Reimann Architekten in Berlin.
In 2011, he founded Löser Lott Architekten in partnership with Katharina Löser in Berlin. From
2016 to 2017, he was a research assistant to Prof. Donatella Fioretti at the Technical University of
Berlin. Johannes Lott has been a full professor at the Technical University of Dresden since the
2020.
