COM/O atelier was founded in 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal by Joana Duarte and Miguel Duarte and develops projects in different areas and at various scales.
The atelier seeks to combine research with the act of making a project, extending their practice to various fields between art and architecture between the perennial and the ephemeral. COM/O atelier has a flexible structure based on a logic of collaboration and partnership with other architects, designers, artists, landscape architects, photographers, managers, etc, in order to constitute the team that best suits each specific project. Thus, COM/O atelier adapts to the needs of each project COM (with) different teams, always maintaining a philosophy of work COMO (as) an atelier.
