Gaga & Design was founded by Yaacov Kaufman and Avi Bourla, with a commitment to contemporary design furniture and art directing. Kaufman, a seasoned award winning designer, is known for his experimental approach to design; whether it’s the potential of certain materials, or the exploration of morphology in all its dimensions. We seek to find the right balance between beautiful objects and functional furniture. Playing with textile material and visual weight we believe furniture should bring joy and colors to our living rooms and homes. The chairs are hand woven, in traditional folk craft, using in house developed fibers. With designs that are vibrant in color, smooth of line, Gaga & Design at the same time reflects the leisure of a past time, catering to an indoor-outdoor relaxed living style.
