DIALOG is the language of collaboration. The name conveys the firm’s unique collaborative approach, by our multidisciplinary teams, who work in an interactive planning and design process that encompasses architecture, engineering, interior design, planning, urban design and landscape architecture services.
Founded over 50 years ago, DIALOG has grown into a national firm with studios in Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto and Vancouver and a staff compliment of over 550. Our philosophy is to deliver outstanding solutions that leave a lasting positive mark on the community with projects around Calgary such as TELUS Spark Science Centre, Calgary International Airport and the Energy Environment Experiential Learning (EEEL) building at the University of Calgary, completed in collaboration with Perkins+Will. We are currently working on the New Kahanoff Centre for Charitable Activities and Decidedly Jazz Danceworks.
DIALOG has received numerous recognitions and awards reflecting our core values in innovative thinking, sustainable leadership, design excellence and strong project management. Recent recognitions include the University of Calgary EEEL building receiving Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Platinum Certification as well as the Architectural Institute of British Columbia Special Jury Award. DIALOG was also recognized as one of Globe and Mail Canada’s Top 100 Employers for two consecutive years since 2013.
