Zecc Architecten

Zecc Architecten (Utrecht, 2003) is an influential and passionate architects’ firm, with its own recognisable signature. We apply a critical design approach to our work on a very varied range of high-quality projects of increasing size and complexity. Zecc has a clear vision that underpins our working method and our distinctive quality. We believe buildings should be functional, developed based on sustainable principles while also stimulating all of the senses: we call it Grounded Architecture. It results in clearly-defined, sustainable buildings with a high amenity value.
Zecc has now grown into an experienced firm focusing on two core activities: project-based housing construction and transformation projects. In this, we always take the specific building conditions or local situation as our starting point. In residential construction, our focus is on special city projects and we are active across the full spectrum, from high-end owner-occupied properties to social rental housing. We take pride in our ability to manage complexity and realise beautiful sustainable buildings.
