Luce e materia come sintassi di un linguaggio del costruire per l’abitare. CASA LV vuole essere una “machine à habiter” dove è possibile cogliere il ritmo del tempo attraverso il continuo mutare della luce naturale filtrata dagli elementi architettonici.

Il progetto inizia dall’idea di valorizzare materia e volume in un contesto periferico della città diffusa dove il paesaggio rurale è ormai andato in frantumi.

Da un punto di vista compositivo si innesca così una relazione tra: cemento armato, materia interprete della “contemporaneità” e mattone di laterizio che porta su di sé la “memoria”, quella che parla della tecnica costruttiva del luogo e che ha dato vita alla casa. I due elementi fondono, valorizzando le pareti perimetrali e portandole a vivo verso gli interni.

Light and matter as the syntax of a language of building for living. CASA LV aims to be a "machine à habiter" where it is possible to grasp the rhythm of time through the continuous change of natural light filtered by architectural elements.

The project begins with the idea of enhancing matter and volume in a peripheral context of the diffuse city where the rural landscape has now been shattered.

From a compositional point of view, a relationship is thus triggered between: reinforced concrete, a material interpreter of "contemporaneity," and brick that carries on itself the "memory," the one that speaks of the construction technique of the place and that gave life to the house. The two elements merge, enhancing the perimeter walls and bringing them alive to the interior.
