Floating Lido

The Masterplan for Lido Super Yacht Marina forms part of an expansive development encompassing the Floating Venice hotel project, situated along Dubai's waterfront. Its primary objective is to enhance the hotel area by providing public spaces, beaches, and facilities that complement the resort services. Lido acts as a natural extension of Venice, boasting extensive beaches and a rich tradition of spas and thermal waters, epitomized by the magnificent Excelsior Palace Hotel.

Drawing inspiration from Lido di Venezia, which has long served as Venice's beach destination, our vision is to recreate this concept within a contemporary setting on the World Islands' Lido. Similar to how we integrated the Grand Canal into the Floating Venice project, we have adapted the actual outline of Lido along the borders of our plot, creating a new facade that opens up to the vast expanse of the sea, establishing a direct connection to the surrounding natural elements. Furthermore, a private enclosed water area is formed between the new project and the hotel. Additionally, a private enclosed water area has been created between the new project and the hotel. The facade emerges from the sea and the beach, forming artificial dunes that serve both as a protective roof and as sunbathing sandy areas.

In a balance of contrasting elements, the outer shore is dedicated to a super yacht marina and its associated services, while the inner shore, facing the hotel resort, transforms into a landscape of long, pristine white sandy beaches. Natural elements juxtapose artificial ones, as the flat and linear meets the undulating and irregular. Action and movement coexist with relaxation and tranquility.

The project also delves into the depths of the Persian Gulf, offering a spectacular underwater theater, a convention center, restaurants, and a unique submerged spa experience. This immersive underwater space allows guests to engage with the marine environment, connecting them with the natural wonders below the surface.

Overall, the Masterplan for Lido Super Yacht Marina embraces the essence of Venice's Lido and extends its allure into a contemporary context, reimagining it as a destination that combines natural beauty, luxurious amenities, and captivating experiences.
