Soft renovation of an apartment located in a residential area of Milan.

The apartment has not undergone changes in terms of layout and systems.

The renovation, however, was aimed at improving and enhancing the potential of the apartment,

briging brightness and making the most of some elements that could seem "weak".

It was played on color, in an unexpected way.

Color became a pretext for graphically sawing the walls, connoting them with an almost ironic character.

And so the entrance to the kitchenette is underlined by a triumphal arch, and the long corridor leading to the sleeping area is stretched even more by the gray band that draws it in length 

The choice of furniture is fresh and young, poised between design objects and vintage pieces.

Intervento soft in un appartamento sito in una zona residenziale di Milano.

L’appartamento non ha subito stravolgimenti a livello di layout e di impianti, si è infatti deciso di mantenere la disposizione esistente poiché ottimale.

L’intervento però è stato volto al miglioramento ed esaltazione delle potenzialità dell’appartamento,

sottiloneandone la luminosità e sfruttando al meglio, enfatizzando, alcuni punti che potevano sembrare “deboli”.

Si è giocato sul colore, in maniera inaspettata.

Il colore è diventato pretesto per segnare graficamente le pareti, connotandole di un carattere quasi ironico.

E così l’ingresso al cucinotto viene sottolineato da un arco trionfale, e il lungo corridoio che conduce alla zona notte è allungato ancor di più dalla fascia grigia che lo disegna in lunghezza.

La scelta dell’arredo è fresca e giovane, in bilico tra oggetti di design e pezzi vintage.
