In the era of information explosion, luxury is endowed with multiple meanings. What we pursue is not only the magnificence of Versailles but also indulging in the azure of Nice and the river way of Venice; we long for the great momentum of the Andes and even crave for the grand bird’s eye view of the African prairie. Our definitions of luxury are already diverse and mixture of time and space.

The design inspiration of TOP ZIO sources from such a luxurious “montage”. We present space. Moreover, we seek a mixture of different time and spaces, regional mixture, past and present mixture. Independent and closed display spaces are connected one by one, ranging from the open display area to the semi-private rest and preparation area, private fitting area and the open cashier area. It’s a closed-loop shopping line of flow. On the one hand, customers psychologically seem to walk through the lobby, the mirror hall, the reception room and the backyard. On the other hand, different spaces together with slight differences form staggered time and space. The French-style smoked oak engravings carry a sense of retro old-fashion reserve; the outer wall and the grey matte cobwebbing marble reveals the unrestraint and carefree outdoor goers; the marble pillar shaped tea table represents a vintage iteration. However, the show window of the golden and thin metal board is manifesting modern conciseness. Different readers will conclude different contexts. Maybe westerners feel the space is oriental while easterners think the opposite. The elder will feel nostalgic side while young people regard it as extremely fashionable. The thousands of words of praise are luxury while a light gentle word means luxury as well. We put together all kinds of elements by virtue of montage and meanwhile allow different ways of interpretation.

People have their own experience and judgement. What we do is to present possibilities of interpreting the luxury.
