NONG STUDIO

NONG STUDIO is a Shanghai-based multidisciplinary architectural design studio specializing in commercial, residential and hospitality projects, covering full design spectrum from architecture renovation, interiors, furniture to Graphic design, aims to create deep passion and long lasting richness through Art and Design.​NONG（弄）, as a special Chinese polyphony, means”do”, ”create”and”perform” in a playful way used as verb, and also reflects pureness, instinctive reaction and being deeply passionate. Meanwhile, it also means typical Shanghai lanes and alleys used as noun. The founder, Chasing Wang founded and named NONG since he was born and raised in the Shanghai alleys and studied abroad afterwards, which shapes his uniquely eclectic vision and exquisite taste by interpreting cultural context in modern design language, with a playful way.​ NONG STUDIO strives to create something that can balance Art and Design, something look back into the future, and something that withstands time.​
