The structure of the exhibition, partitions and bases, is built in alveolar cardboard whereas the display cases and display stands are realized in fluorescent Plexiglas. The use of the cardboard as material of preference for this project references to the paper and cardboard archives.

The project is developed between two rooms and every space articulates itself around a central element which appears as a meeting space between the various themes. In the first room, the visitors can evolve through the central element whereas in the second one, the public is put at distance, emphasizing the secret dimension.

The first room includes four themes which appear in this order : the birth of the department and the youth crisis, the intelligence service in the popular culture, the women in the intelligence service and finally the technical means (in the central element). Whereas the second room is developing in three themes : ‘Stay behind’, moles and defectors (integrated in the central element) and the challenges as the conclusion of the exhibition.
