b80 | Building Bloc Design

Project b80 is located in Altadore, one of Calgary’s older established neighborhoods. The concept behind this project was to design a home with a modern aesthetic that would fit into the historic neighborhood of mainly traditional homes. The home features two semi-detached units, defined by contrasting colors, reclaimed barn board cladding and a shared pitched roofline. Custom concrete counters, cinder block fireplace and backsplash detailing, hickory flooring, chrome accents, and an exposed staircase complement the 2800 sqft interior. These elements establish a harmonious clean-lined modern living space.
