Office-Park

A metropolitan wastes from 40 minutes to 2 hours every day to get to work and then the same time to get back home. It turns out to be stressful with all that traffic, public transport crowds, breathing exhaust gases and dust, and then spending the whole day in a sweltering office tied to the work seat.

Most of the large corporate offices are designed as closed multilayer spaces devoid of individuality, freedom to choose a desired behaviour pattern, privacy and natural environment elements.

In our Office-Park project we are giving the traditional idea of an office space a second thought turning it into a park where every employee gets an opportunity to choose a work place and environment. Whether this would be green grass under a tree, private office pavilion or a bedside laptop table.

The concept of the Office-Park project is based on placing a group of buildings in a wooded outskirts area of Ekaterinburg. This group includes a hub, a main office, workshop pavilions, private office pavilions, a café and a supermarket and the project’s infrastructure facilities buildings.

The shape of each building is unique and is interconnected with the closely located trees. The pavilion roof tops are used as green-roof carrying natural environment elements and are used for rest and recreation.
