Studied at Saint-Lucas institute of architecture in Ghent and Brussels. During his Master’s degree, he moves to Rome following an international exchange program at Università degli studi RomaTre Architettura. Simultaneously he collaborates with the architecture and restoration office: ORA, based in Siena and Rome. After graduating with honors, in 2008, from Saint-Lucas Architecture School he moves to Paris where he gains experience in offices such as A.S. Architecture-Studio, LAN-Architecture and h2o architectes He founds JFA. Having a passion for artisan work and especially wood work he conducts the design and the actual overall construction of his first interior design projects, confronting himself with the difficulty of translating an exact design into a functioning reality while respecting a challenging budget. This enriching experience gives him a realistic view on the project, the materials used and the extent of their usage.
