Joao Panaggio
João Panaggio graduated from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and the Polytechnic of Milan, with participation in national and international competitions, having been, in 2018, the first Brazilian winner of the Piranesi Prix of Rome, in Italy, second place in the “architecture students” category of the 2019 Deca Award and, still as a student, finalist in the Archathon competition for the new Google BR headquarters.

His works mix references from Italian and Brazilian architecture and design, assuming, as the main point of his creative process, both architectural and design, the appreciation of the discoveries of spaces in the architect x resident relationship.

In 2021, he founded the Panaggio Arquitetura office, with a team made up of young architects, accumulating, in three years, 52 projects carried out in four Brazilian states: Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Bahia and Minas Gerais.

In 2022, he was responsible for building a house from scratch at the Casa Cor Rio exhibition, becoming the youngest architect to participate in the Rio edition. The following year, he returned to the exhibition, this time to build, also from scratch, an architecture pavilion that housed Espaço Deca.
