A french architect in China. Jerome Charignon, French registered Architect has a M.Arch by "de la Ville et des Territoires " Paris since 1997. There, he was breaded with contextual architecture from his peers, such as Architect Yves Lion and Landscape Architect Alexandre Chemetoff. He has been based in Asia for 15 years, both in Singapore and Shanghai. China is providing him endless inspiration, bustling creativity and a taste for innovation. In 1999, he moved from Paris to Singapore and worked with HYLA Architects, where he designed and built residential and commercial projects. Based in Shanghai since 2006, Jerome served as Design director of db&b, a Singaporean design studio, where he and his team designed and built projects for international clients, such as Eaton group, Accor, Axa, Michelin, Danone, Leo Burnett, WPP group ( Young & Rubicam, JWT, GroupM, TNS RI ) … A tailor-made approach Mid 2011, Jerome creates his own architecture workshop inbetween ARCHITECTS 區間, operating as a link between Paris and Shanghai. “ As an Architect, living and working in China today feels like a privilege, as much as a creative booster ! The dialog between modern and ancient China just never stops, for the best ". Most of all, inbetween values the relationship and dialogue with client as a key element in the project. In a boutique spirit, inbetween crafts projects from conceptualization till construction, based on a solid network built with time and experience. « My ancestor Joseph Charignon was involved in the construction of the railway line from Kunming to Hanoi, in 1910, and he was the first French national to be granted with Chinese citizenship.
