Giuseppe Guerrera
Giuseppe Guerrera, class of '78, is an architect and designer born in Messina. Ever since he was a teenager, he has been attracted to design and natural stone thanks to the influence of the family business, which has been operating for decades in the marble sector and which he has followed with interest and participation since his school days. The family business allowed him to develop excellent knowledge in the field, to deal with local professionals and to be enriched by continuous and stimulating production experiences.

After graduating from high school in 1997, he enrolled in the Faculty of Architecture at the Università degli studi Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria, graduating in 2005. As a young graduate, he decided to pursue a professional career in the marble sector, managing the family's marble and natural stone processing factory for several years. The choice of raw materials, the control of production and the constant confrontation with professionals are some of the tasks managed by the Sicilian designer that allow him to increasingly consolidate his belonging to this complex and fascinating world. During this production experience, he collaborates with several Sicilian architectural studios and with one of which he personally oversees the creation of a marble prototype exhibited in the 2017 edition of the Fuorisalone in Milan, as part of the "White in the city" event organised by Giulio Cappellini.
During his production experience, he took part in several training courses in the field of chemical treatments applied to stone materials, enriching his technical knowledge, which made him one of the leading experts in the field locally.

After this intense entrepreneurial experience, in 2019 he founded GMG marble & design srls, a company that deals with interior design, trade and processing of natural and technical materials for interior architecture.
