ISOFOTON’s production plant in Spain is located at Malaga’s privileged and strategically located Andalucia Technology Park. The surroundings and extensive green areas make it an ideal location for developing our company activities. ISOFOTON has experienced sustained growth in terms of turnover, going from a 6 MW annual production capacity in 1997 to 230 MW today. More than 28.000m² of facilities has allowed us to increase our production capacity and meet the growing market demand. R&D&i has always been the driving force behind our growth. Our on-site laboratory facilities allows us to improve the current efficiency of our products, revolutionize the market with new concentration cells and continue leading the research in Solar Energy and HCPV (High Concentration Photovoltaics). ISOFOTON’s commitment to the environment is reflected through its office building’s bioclimatic design. Its façades incorporate architecturally integrated grid-connected photovoltaic modules, while rooftop thermal collectors supply hot water for heating and cooling. The company’s new fully automated production line has been designed by ISOFOTON based on the experience and research in new technologies developed by its in-house engineering team. The line has been manufactured and assembled by a prestigious German manufacturer specializing in automation and process integration, resulting in of the world’s most advanced photovoltaic module production centers today.
