LISTOTECH DECKING QUARTZ

Listotech Srl is a company owned by Precompressi SpA, a leading manufacturer of industrial elements in pre-compressed concrete. Established in 1956 and headquartered in Campodarsego, in the province of Padua, the group has a turnover of 20 million. Listotech Srl was set up to provide exterior architectural design with an alternative to wood planks. Not too long ago, when Riccardo Valente, marketing director of Precompressi Spa, was doing some market research, he found out that the housing market was eager for an alternative to the usual and classic wood planking for exterior flooring and covering. In 2005, Riccardo was in Spain walking up and down Barcelona’s Ramblas. At the end of the boulevards there is a complex with wood boardwalks called Maremàgnum. While he was observing some damaged wooden boards, he had an idea: these boards needed to be replaced by a stronger and a longer-lasting solution, namely pre-compressed concrete, provided it had the same attractive look and resilience.
