Counterbalance is an architectural and development company, founded by housing architect Gareth Price in 2021. We are based in Greenwich, London with projects across the capital including Greenwich, Blackheath, Lewisham, Bexley, Bromley, Lambeth, Hackney, Southwark and Brixton. In addition we have a strong connection with Hampshire and Surrey with projects in Farnborough and Woking.

The name of the studio represents the belief that successful projects are achieved when all parties involved equally benefit from the process: balancing all interests to an optimal point of equilibrium, where homes are built in sustainable locations, procured quickly, built to a high quality and tailored to meet the unique needs and lifestyles of our clients.
