spillmann echsle architekten ag was founded in 2002 by Annette Spillmann (1969) and Harald Echsle (1968). The office employs 30 people and is known for projects such as the Freitag tower in Zürich, office interiors for companies such as Google and On Running, the House of Switzerland pavilion of 2014, and public-use buildings such as Tonhalle Maag and Halle 550 in Zürich. Currently under development are restoration and refurbishment projects such as the Militärkaserne Zürich, Brunnenhof Radio Studio and the development of the office building Tiefenbrunnen for SBB. Most recently, the office has won the competition to retrofit Zürich HB’s Nordtrakt.
