Etica is a line of upholstered items made with sustainable production methods, recycled raw materials and with a value proposition based on social responsibility and respect for people and the environment.
Etica is young in vision and mature in manufacturing tradition, it is in fact thanks to the Arketicom brand, from which the spin-off was born, that since 2001 has been producing and directly marketing indoor and outdoor furniture. The experience gained in verticality and without intermediaries, allows us to reach everyone with optimized production times. The result is lean manufacturing with efficient customer service.
Etica enters the indoor and outdoor furniture market with seats designed to be sustainable, but also with characterized functionality and excellent performance. In this new vision, therefore, both the materials and the production methods are designed to respond to the principles of the circular economy.
How ethical is the world we live in?
What actions can we take to make the world a better place?
At the time we did not have a clear answer but, words like regeneration, recycling, sustainability and ethics, gradually replaced those like: use, consumption, waste. Then our first small change of process was born; we began to vacuum ship the fillings for cushions, reducing the volume of the packaging by 2/3 without changing their functionality. Just a few more minutes of patience, to allow the padding to expand after opening. We calculated that for each piece of stuff shipped from Puglia to Lombardy, we had avoided introducing 50 kilograms of CO2 into the atmosphere. This fact was a revelation for us, a new beginning. We knew that it would not be easy, that it would be a methodical and thorough change of process, but the immensity of the problem with its inevitable repercussions on the planet forced us to try to do something more. Today than yesterday we are even more aware that we ourselves are the cause of the same problem, but we continue to find the time, ideas and resources to be part of the solution. Our products probably won't save the planet but our actions can make a difference.

Why Etica?
A few years ago, 5 to be precise, we asked ourselves some questions like:How ethical is the world we live in?
