Culture iN

Culture iN, founded by engineer David Ambs in 2014, is a company that produces acoustic panels in Varian®, a functional, decorative and renewable material designed and patented by the same company. In this way Culture iN is able to offer a range of products for the sustainable and responsible design of living and working spaces. The wide range of products developed by Culture iN has been designed for all spaces: acoustic wall panels, partitions, hanging acoustic panels, ceiling panels, acoustic and lighting solutions. Culture iN accompanies its clients' projects from the first phases of creation to implementation. A multidisciplinary team dedicated to custom projects has been set up internally.

Varian®: the innovative material of Culture iN

Varian® is a unique and innovative material composed of 60% linen, it is entirely organic, sustainable and free of VOC emissions. It also meets the requirements of BREEAM, LEED and INDOOR AIR COMFORT. A weave that combines flax yarns and PLA plant resin (corn starch). Varian® is a fabric that that can be worked through different processes: thermocompression, bending and hot folding. It offers the same cutting, assembly and finishing possibilities as a fabric. It is possible to customize the colors in addition to the seven standard colors offered by the company. Varian® can easily take a multitude of shapes thanks to the vegetable resin present inside. Through a simple heating process slabs are modeled, the profiles folded and reliefs embossed.
