Classic Rug Collection

Since 1999, Classic Rug Collection has specialized in premium hand-knotted, hand-tufted, and flatwoven rugs. They realize rugs in almost any size, shape and color in a variety of natural fibers: wool, silk, hemp, linen, pashmina, mohair, nettle, bamboo and banana. They can personalize the rug, follow the customer's desires and style. Their rugs have been featured in major design magazines and journals, and they have shown and sold their work internationally. They designed two limited edition rugs for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This was the first time that The Met had commissioned an artist to design rugs based on works of art from their collection. They were selected by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation to design and sell a new collection of rugs based on the work of the world-famous architect. In 2018, they were selected to show their work at Venice Design, a by invitation only show produced by the European Cultural Centre. More than half of their rugs are for export. Classic Rug Collection was awarded the Export Achievement Award by the US Commerce Department for excellence in exporting by a small, woman-owned business.
