David Apheceix is an architect based in Paris. The bureau works on a wide spectrum of scales, from exhibition and residential spaces to buildings and public places. The singular context of each project is an opportunity to experiment with renewed typologies, construction processes and ways to operate. Making design decisions bold and explicit is a strong focus of the practice, as well as the use of theory as a conception tool, a source of abstract ideas that call for formal interpretations through architectural apparatuses. Along with private owners, the bureau has been working for major clients such as Centre Pompidou, Galleria Continua, Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin and JCDecaux. The office has just been featured in the newly published Atlas of Emerging Practices by Itinerant Office.
