The Guild of Saint Luke is an affiliation of artists, architects and artisans united by a common aesthetic and directed by its founder, John Whelan. Working between London and Paris, the group creates interiors and images that aspire to timelessness. Reacting against the artificial sheen of the modern world, the guild search instead for the soulful and the bittersweet. Riffling through archives for inspiration, they revisit past glories in order to imagine a more meaningful, emotional present.
