Marianka is an innovative new company aiming to functionalize surfaces. In developing a material that serves as an interactive underlayer, Marianka is capable of imbuing any surface with interactive properties. A wall can become a light switch, a floor can become an electric piano, a carpet could respond to children playing, a room could detect arrivals, departures and occupation counts; almost as if by magic.

These intelligent and connected surfaces are based on a patented technology called Talkative Matter which is capable of sensing the presence of a human body through touch or at a slight distance. The sensors can activate any system through any kind of material.

Our innovation lies in the fact that the materials allow us to create different interaction zones. We create invisible and ergonomic switches occupying large surface areas, and adapt to a large range of needs, offering infinite possibilities for spaces designed for people with limited mobility.
