Atelier van Berlo is an emerging architecture office based in Rotterdam. We are driven by the ambition to design sensitive and grounded places. We design for our users. Spaces that surprise and inspire, welcomes and warms. We work on a broad spectrum of projects from urban design, fine interiors to multi-functional architectonic interventions.
In our designs we always anticipate on cultural, social and ecological developments. We believe in generous architecture that is grounded for multiple generations. Atmosphere, material and detailing are essential for us.
Atelier van Berlo is founded in 2015 by Janne van Berlo while designing the award winning Innovation Powerhouse in Eindhoven. Atelier van Berlo developed a strong focus on the transformation of existing buildings and making them ready for the future.
