The first self-supporting aluminum balcony flooring with a special non-slip coating was born in 2009 at the initiative of Hundt Metallbau GmbH in Bavaria. In 2018 TOPERO® obtains the European patent.
Hundt Metallbau GmbH proposes as its first company the combination of aluminum and innovative walk-on surface for balconies, thus eliminating all the various weight problems, various steps to obtain a perfect waterproofing of the surfaces, waiting times and creating a surface adaptable to any environment and every need.
The system allows a very easy assembly and guarantees, with one single step, a perfect water seal on the whole surface. The low weight makes it particularly suitable for the construction of cantilevered balconies, with sub-constructs in either metal (aluminum or steel) or wood, or the restoration of existing floors. The weight of the slabs is very small compared to commonly used materials such as for example fiber cement slabs. The choice between different shades of color and structure allows to reach a perfect harmony both with modern and ancient architecture.

The classification of the reaction to fire of TOPERO® A1 products - non-combustible - and B1 - hardly flammable - also allows a wide use of the product in the fire-fighting sector, for example as stairs or escape bridges.
