M.O. developed the TRANSLUTECH technique which consists of integrating fiber optics into concrete. M.O. is sole manufacturer in North America to possess the experience and savoir faire for this method and one of three worldwide. Modus Operandi (M.O. Inc.) was founded in 2008 by Eric Filteau who supplies over 20 years of experience working in the fields of industrial glass and the fabrication and treatment of metal work. While a business partner in Thermetco enterprises and then as owner of Omega Thermal Treatments, Eric Filteau specialized in the treatment of metals,(secteur de l’acier mécano-soudé) in the heavy industry sector as well as artisanal studios in the US and Canada. Eric Filteau was also a founder of the company Formaverre Inc. which fabricated works of European glass fenestration, architectural glass stairwells, and other commercial and residential projects. As a recognized leader and creative force in all these fields, Mr. Filteau established M.O. with the aim of providing his experience and expertise towards the creative solution of design and architectural projects.
