The design brand NATURE SYSTEMS comprises residential and corporate décor & furnishings and it stands for uncompromising design in solid wood. Designs are bold and modern but also rooted in traditional craftsmanship, preserving the natural texture of solid wood. The traces of time are left visible in the wood. The surface is not cosmetically embellished but treated naturally – oiled, charred, or stained. Every single piece of the line is a clear statement about nature, authenticity and originality, or essence. Commitment to green manufacture and social responsibility are at the very core of our philosophy. All wood is sourced sustainably and encapsulated in designs that will last for generations, in acknowledgment of the value of the forest resource. Only formaldehyde-free glues and natural herbal oils are used in making the product, promoting a healthy indoor environment.

The raw patchy nature of European beech wood with its many color tones, knots of various sizes, heavy mineral coloring and streaking, or stress cracks from drying, is shaped into minimalist forms. The unusual mix between material roughness and pure designs is both a tribute to nature, unique and authentic, and to modern design ideas.
NATURE SYSTEMS designs capture the tree’s inner parts to almost full preservation and the mere visual display of what was hidden behind bark, the tree’s natural armor (wood rays, growth rings, solitary bud scars, the wounding response or decay development) make them unique room highlights. Then, they can be repurposed for a certain function and turn out to be tables, benches, stools, kitten beds, podiums, racks or even candle holders.

Wood is a renewable resource par excellence, especially when procured from sustainably managed forestry operations, and making products from natural materials is nurturing the environment. Wood is easily recyclable, 100% biodegradable, or it can end its life-cycle in the form of green energy; whichever the case, it will not burden future generations with historical landfill polluting waste.
By utilizing an organic material, NATURE SYSTEMS’ designs respect the individuals’ need for healthy living and working set-ups. Massive wood is strong and durable, beautiful and easy to maintain, it has unique sound and warmth qualities as well as carbon sequestration properties – the perfect material to sustain life, make our habitats or workplaces safe.
By code of conduct, to demonstrate appreciation for the resource NATURE SYSTEMS uses low-grade beech logs and sawmill slabs, traditionally underutilized or even discarded by main stream industry.
By design, NATURE SYSTEMS incorporates the genuine nature of beech wood, all the so-called imperfections, ensuring that almost nothing goes to waste: it makes no trimming or exclusion as long the wood’s innate strength is not compromised. Every odd color, every single knot and each shake in the grain formed as the tree aged or got injured and scarred during its life-cycle are included, counting in further resource conservation.
The manufacturing processes are “old-school” based on non-industrial traditions of wood crafting.
The finishes used are all-natural, plant based oils.
