SOLARTEG is an innovative company focused on the production of construction components able to combine photovoltaic (PV) technology with the traditional roof tiles (Tuscan, slate, …), in respect of their (engineered) shape and colour.
SOLARTEG mission is to facilitate the diffusion of PV technology and the paradigm of distributed generation through renewable energy sources in the residential sector, taking care at the same time of the style and the beauty of the building where plants are hosted. Our goal is the perfect blend of technical performance and elegance.
In addition to the product GTFV100 already available, SOLARTEG plans to develop a full range of tiles and roof-covering components, for each building type and context.
Product designed and patented by HOBBYT s.r.l. in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano with the collaboration of the following companies: SOLBIAN SRL, IMR Industries SpA, CRAL.

We have designed and produced in Italy, since two years, a solar roof made by an integrated photovoltaic tile (SOLARTEG licensed patent for Italy, Europe and RoW) = a construction element (for roof covering, sun shading) + an energy generation component (photovoltaic panel).
