Massimiliano Toniol: painter, scenographer, designer.
He was born in Tripoli (Libya). His father is from Veneto and his mother form Sicily. After the art studies in Pisa, he specialized in theatrical scenery at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. At present he lives in Perugia.
These are the origins of his social and artistic culture which, along with Italian art as a whole, will deeply characterize his design. The theatrical scenery in particular will give him the greatest teaching whilst opening him to a choral vision of design.
Each object or project maintains a bond with each other, and belongs to a story of elements to be read and told.
Since 2015 he has been designing and producing ceramic decals by interpreting plates as a gateway to a symbolic and dreamlike world where anyone can find their dimension
