AROUNDtheTREE is a European Brand of Design Furniture launched in 2013. Designed and produced in Portugal, the land of craftsmen and age-old tradition, AROUNDtheTREE is a team project that believes in the Portuguese traditions and cultural value giving it a whole new interpretation through the design of unique and exclusive pieces.
NATURAL WOOD is the main element in everything we do. By mixing old craftmanship methods with advanced tecnology, all combined with the purpose of enhancing the nobility of the materials in use.

Natural Cork is one of the values that we add in our design, being a portuguese product by excelence. The fabrics of the natural cork are all natural and all patterns are handmade. However for AROUNDtheTREE each project is a project for this reason for the upholstery, we offer a wide range of options.

Both these Tradition and Cultural heritages, make AROUNDtheTREE an original and exquisite brand, distinguished by having the perfect combination of the two elements present in it's DNA, Design and Nature.

Since April 3rd 2014, you can find AROUNDtheTREE represented by PORTUGUESE ROOTS at MUDE (Portuguese National Museum of Design) and won the Silver Award by A’Design Awards 2014 with Portuguese ROOTS Chair.
Since November 2015 AROUNDtheTREE is also present at First Museum Design Center at Funchal, Madeira
