Its star product, the genuine French bistro table, is still made with materials that made its success - enamel steel, brass, stainless steel and copper - and the original machines used since 1954.

Ardamez - a French manufacture

The Ardamez workshop, the authentic manufacturer of the French bistrot table, is based in the west of France near Nantes. All products are designed according to traditional enamelers' knowhow. Each bistrot table is manufactured by a skilled enameller trained within the Ardamez workshop. A French know-how passed on from year to year to provide you with high-quality products.



Enamels, made of silica, metal oxides and natural minerals, are fired at 850°C (1560°F) on a steel plaque. Firing at such temperature allows to vitrify enamels on steel and creates a new combination with exceptional caracteristics, combining the beauty of glass with the strength of metal. Every color is the result of a formula based on natural minerals. Today, Ardamez is able to offer more than 130 colors from the RAL but also specific custom colors.
