RUE space

RUE is the Pamplona-based studio founded in 2010 by the architects Raul Montero and Emilio Pardo to provide space solutions.

Both architects have studied at the Higher Technical School of Architecture of San Sebastian, and have taken part in Mobility programs in Lisbon and Reggio Calabria. They have worked as associates in different studios in Lisbon, Madrid, Bilbao and Pamplona. In addition, Raul Montero has done a MA course in Collective Housing in the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Madrid (ETSAM)
Our careful and respectful work pays special attention to preserve the environment and history of locations so that our buildings are well integrated in them. As a result, our meticulous performance shows our commitment to sustainability and innovation through the use of new technologies.

Most of our projects are carried out for private customers, and they are consequently adaptad to their budget and needs.

Over the last years our work has been exhibited and published through different media and prize by the COAVN (casa #20) and the ASCER prize’s honorific mention (casa #77). We have also been invited to lectures and talks to explain our work performance. Additionally, Raul Montero has worked as a guest teacher in the ETSASS (Higher Technical School of Architecture of San Sebastian) since 2016.
