We are a design focused architectural studio located in bowral, the heart of the beautiful southern highlands. we have undertaken a variety of projects spanning from sydney and canberra to the highlands, including heritage/adaptive re-use, residential and commercial work. We believe that the making of architecture is a complex process that requires a strong design agenda from beginning through to end. using the client brief, authority controls and site information as a starting point, we abstract the project requirements into the "big ideas". these "big ideas" or "concepts" act as a catalyst, or starting point for the design process, but are also referred to throughout the delivery of the project, and inform the detailed design and construction of each building.

We don't see the client brief as a set of problems that need solving, but as an "idea generator" that is tested, re-assessed, considered and evolved during the project. Above all else, we believe the most important part of the process is our clients. more often than not, an architectural project is very close to our clients' heart, and truly understanding what they need, or what they desire is pivotal to the entire process, and to the delivery of a successful project.
