In SYLCOM, skillful craftsmanship is combined with refined design, tradition and technology, becoming part of an age-old process or miracle of glass making intended as an alchemical assemblage of natural elements. Expert artisans transform fire, sand, pigments and water into a supple matter which enables them to model creative shapes that evoke the contours of the Venetian lagoon. A dreamlike yet vibrant city, Venice is still an endless source of inspiration in all fields of art for today's artists as it was for those of the past.
The graceful contours of the SYLCOM collections reflect the artworks of churches and palazzi, such as mullioned windows, sculptures, stuccos and molded cornices.

Sylcom, through the light

The very essence of glass, finely worked by expert hands, tells of a city suspended between water and light. The collections bear the name of the Doges, telling new stories and describing eternal emotions. The color palette draws from the inner nature of the city: the pinkish red of the cocciopesto, the green of the water, the blue of the frescoed skies, the yellow of the golden mosaics, the sands and the sunsets. The rules of glass processing have been handed down to the present time and are now equipped with LED technology ensuring authenticity and efficiency to the chandeliers, both in the re-proposal of the classics and in the proposals of contemporary designers. Chandeliers that seem to be forged by the light that materializes to adorn today's spaces with the elegance and class with which it used to illuminate the halls of the ancient palaces of the Serenissima. The technical and production departments of SYLCOM guarantee the management of all phases of creation with the aim of passing on a precious tradition, proposing new design-oriented products, supporting the ideas of a designer or turning customers' dreams into reality. The production of the Venetian classics derives from a delicate process that starts from the consultation of the historical archives of the Murano glass tradition, passing through the redesign of the whole technical and artistic components up to the craftsmanship, assembly, quality control and certification.
The contemporary collections avail themselves of the contribution of national and international designers, called to propose innovative objects so to quote or interpret the stylistic features of tradition through formal references or processing methods. The Sylcom design and production departments also aim to place themselves at the service of each individual designer and customer to allow the customization of the catalogue products or the realization of new ideas through the careful selection of materials and finishes, making the final result unique and inimitable.

The company carries an original genetic code that allows both the faithful reproduction of the classics and the creation of new collections meeting the stylistic and functional needs of contemporary spaces. The production does not follow the industrial logic, but strives to keep alive a high quality craftsmanship offering customers a collection of exclusive chandeliers, made up of small or large components, each of which represents a unique piece, authentically handmade. An archive of shapes, sizes, color combinations, metal finishes that includes over 5.180 items forming the collections catalog or allowing to meet the unlimited needs of the custom sector. All raw materials come from the Italian territory and the entire production process, from sands to packaging, takes place within the company that is seen as the expansion of the artistic workshop: a place where great attention is paid to the single detail and where each product is conceived to be placed on the market as a single piece, equipped with a progressive number and appropriately initialed and certified.
