Starting as a small workshop, Pietro Lovato develop Moving that since 1980 produces office furniture. His experience as an entrepreneur, together with the young spirit of the company’s new generation in order to pursue the company’s goal and core philosophy: looking at the future and innovation, starting from a strong and solid tradition. With the passing of time, the idea that gave birth at the project grew together with our people and their strategies, turning the small workshop in a structured company reality. All the chairs are 100% made in Moving: they are designed and realized completely inhouse. Idea, research, project; and then selection of raw materials, realization and quality control. From the production of the mould to the final assembling of the chair and its test. This is combined with the design and style, aesthetics and elegance that make Italy famous throughout the world.

Moving: the persuit of well-being

Moving, in collaboration with CATAS and with the consultancy of the esteemed vascular cardiologist, Dr. Ennio De Dominicis, has undertaken a research project concerning the effects of the use of ergonomic office chairs on some typical pathologies of office work. The design of an ergonomic seat requires a prior knowledge of the anatomical-physiological and psychological-cognitive characteristics of humans, of the type of work carried out using that type of seat, and a deep knowledge of the technology that can be used with the aim of promoting complete well-being of the worker. The purpose of this research is to demonstrate how, all things being equal, the correct use of an office chair that meets the highest ergonomic and safety criteria can contribute to the improvement or in some cases to the resolution of some pathologies affecting employees who spend many hours in a sitting position every day. It is thanks to continuous direct research and experimentation on technological innovations that Moving can guarantee its seats as certified High Quality products, designed around humans, for humans and their work environment.
