pro clima is leading the field in the development and production of intelligent vapour retarders for thermal insulation systems. Motivated by personal relationships with our partners and by the achievement of our shared success, pro clima engineers and marketing and sales specialists are working together on integrated solutions for thermal insulation constructions in timber and steel.
pro clima provides complete airtightness and moisture management systems including intelligent high performance vapour retarders, sarking felt, special adhesives and adhesive tapes. Manufactured according to the high quality standards of Europe.
In 1978 the current executive direct or of MOLL bauökologische Produkte GmbH, Lothar Moll, opened an advice centre for ecological construction and thereby laid the foundations for pro clima.
At the start of the 1980s the company was extended to include the "Biologische Insel", which traded, for instance, in building materials with exclusively ecological building materials in its range.
From 1985 the first convection protection membranes and vapour retarders were developed and sold under the brand B.I. Baupappen. With the introduction of the pro clima brand in 1994, further products were introduced for a professional air sealing system.
Today, pro clima operates across the globe in more than 30 countries and provides complete sealing systems for inside and out with intelligent membranes, sealants, quality assurance and comprehensive service.
In 2004 pro clima set new standards for protecting against structural damage and mould with the market launch of the high performance system pro clima INTELLO.
